So glad you are here! Welcome to Apple Cottage in the northeast corner of Wyoming. I am a Suburban Homesteader or Substeader as I have started calling myself. I live here now with only my husband and two crazy dogs, as we are empty nesters.
One of my goals is to be as self-sufficient, self-sustaining and self-reliant as possible while still living within our town. In this blog site, I will be sharing my love of homesteading and all that entails. Gardening, orchards, food forest, animals, and bees.
I’ll also talk about cooking, baking, canning and preserving, sewing and my love of art. We have our own handmade earthen stove outside, some would call it a pizza oven but we cook all kinds of stuff in it. We also do a lot with our smoker.
